Being in this business for most of my life now, I've run across many different landscapes. Some good, some bad, and some gorgeous. What makes a landscape good or bad?
In my opinion, a well thought out design can make or break a landscape. What do I mean? A lot of people and even "professional" landscapers don't take the time to consider what they wish to achieve. I see spur of the moment buys in people's yards and flower beds all the time. How can I tell?
That beautiful blooming shrub or tree that was so cute when it was little, is now crowding, overtaking, and overpowering the place it was put into.
How do I fix this? At 4 Seasons Landscaping, we take the following into consideration:
Space, light, soil, moisture, looks, color.
There are more, but these are 5 of the most important. When all these are thought through and implemented into a design , you can achieve that gorgeous landscape that will have people talking.
